Welcome to the Standards Sentinel, the SMRP web-news on events and developments of the Standards Committee.
The University of Tennessee has been assisting in the compilation of information on M&R-related standards. To date, 5000 such standards have been identifed and mapped to the Body of Knowledge (BoK).
The percentage of standards in the different BoK catagories is given below:
- Business & Management (1%)
- Manufacturing Business Processes (38%)
- Equipment Relaibility (55%)
- People Skills (2%)
- Work Management (4%)
The Standards Committee is currently performing a quality assurance review of the standards information, after which the data will be made available for SMRP member use.

a part of the SMRP standards development process.
