The SMRP Standards Committee is chartered
with influencing the course of standards development as
they affect the Maintenance & Reliability community.
Our Vision is to serve the SMRP membership
and community by supporting the codification of M&R
Best Practices that improve the productivity, safety and
environmental performance of physical assets.
Our Mission is to develop international
standards for maintenance and reliability.
Our Strategic Goals are:

Survey Standards - We are continuously
surveying mandatory and voluntary standards that are
applicable to the SMRP Body of Knowledge.

Develop Standards - We will develop
standards by become a recognize Standards Developing
Organization (SDO) and also through association with
existing SDOs.

Disseminate Standards Information
- We will be providing information on standards as thy
relate to the SMRP Body Of Knowledge.
The Standards Committee has five Standards Subcommittees,
each of which focuses on standards that apply to a section
of the SMRP Body of Knowledge.

The Committee Chair is Drew Troyer of Noria. The Vice Chair
is Jeff Parker of Cargill. The Secretary is Leith Hitchcock
of Pall Corp.
There are many opportunities to contribute to shaping the
