Veteran Professional Award


Ron Reimer, PE, CRE, CMRP

Ron is currently senior reliablity engineer with Eli Lilly and Company. While in this role, he's developed and implemented Eli Lilly’s global reliability program along with metrics and standards. Prior to this assignment, he was the engineering director at Eli Lilly’s largest bulk manufacturing plant, where his plant was awarded the Engineering Site of the Year by Eli Lilly's president of manufacturing. Other previous Lilly positions include director of global maintenance and calibration, maintenance manager, and operations manager. Ron has been with Eli Lilly for 28 years. Prior to joining Eli Lilly, he was a nuclear submarine officer in the United States Navy. He retired as a Captain after serving 30 years of active and reserve duty. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Systems Engineering. He has an MBA and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering with the University of Alabama at Huntsville.

Rising Leader Award


Pawel Lecinski, CMRP

Pawel is a project reilability manager for Bunge Italia S.p.A. where he manages multi-million dollar, multi-year maintenance and reliability activities at the project stage. He is responsible for the new soya crush plant building is to prevent maintenance and reliability and process defects, avoiding unnecessary costs and optimizing plant performance in future operation. He previously worked in ZT Kruszwica S.A at Bunge Limited Company as a predictive maintenance and reliability manager. In that time he was also project manager of ARROP (Bunge Maintenance, Reliability and Physical Asset Management Program) implementation. He has over seven years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering.

Pawel holds a master’s degree in Automatic Control and Robotics from the Opole University of Technology and postgraduate in Accounting & Financial Management (Wroclaw University of Economics) and Project Management (Wroclaw University of Technology).
